Nurses.co.uk recently conducted a survey of all our nursing recruiters and these are their top ten most important things to include in a CV / application for a nursing job.

So here it is.. the essential top ten for submitting that brilliant application for a nursing job.

  1. Reverse chronological employment history
  2. Description of most recent position including responsibilities
  3. NMC Pin Number given (where applicable)
  4. Well structured sentences and grammar
  5. Accurate spelling
  6. Two referee contact details given
  7. Personal skills profile
  8. Details of any flexible working arrangements needed
  9. Reverse chronological education history with qualifications achieved
  10. Professional development description
